What it does
Built for reading in the dark.
Offline story library
Ghost stories, creepypasta, urban legends and paranormal tales — stored on your device, readable with zero connection.
Narration
Listen to stories with text-to-speech narration when you'd rather keep your eyes off the screen.
Auto-scroll reading
Hands-free reading that moves at your pace — good for late nights under the blanket.
Progress & bookmarks
Your place is saved automatically, down to the paragraph. Pick up exactly where you left off.
Free
What "free" means here.
Free to download, free to read — no paywalls, no subscriptions, no account. The app shows ads, and that's what keeps it free. We don't sell your data; the privacy policy spells out exactly what the app touches.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Does it really work offline?
Yes. Stories, your progress and your settings are stored on your device. Once the app is installed, you can read anywhere — flights, commutes, campsites, dead zones.
Is it actually free?
Yes. There are ads in the app — that's how it stays free. No subscriptions, no locked stories, no account required.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no login, nothing to remember. Install it and start reading.
What data does it collect?
Nothing that identifies you. Your stories and progress stay on your phone. The app sends anonymous usage stats (like which stories get opened) so we can see what's working, and shows ads via Google AdMob. Full details are in the privacy policy.
What permissions does it ask for?
None of the sensitive ones — no camera, microphone, or contacts. It only needs basic storage access to keep your reading progress saved on your device.
Can I listen instead of reading?
Yes — every story can be narrated with text-to-speech, so you can listen with the screen off.
